This journey is meticulously designed for those with an artistic soul and a passion for photography. We invite you to dive deep into the heart of Central Vietnam’s World Heritage sites. From the authentic daily rhythms of ancient fishing villages to the somber, majestic beauty of the Hue Imperial Court, every stop is a masterpiece waiting to be captured through your lens.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 0: ARRIVAL – THE JOURNEY BEGINS

  • Pickup: Our guide and driver will welcome you at Da Nang International Airport for a transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An.
  • Check-in: Relax at a 4-5 star hotel/resort located in the heart of Hoi An.
  • Evening: Enjoy a welcome dinner and an orientation session with our lead photographer to discuss the upcoming shooting schedule.

DAY 1: HOI AN – RIVER DANCE & TRADITIONAL CRAFTS

Early Morning: Board a specialized large boat to the estuary. Experience and capture the majestic giant lift-net fishing (Rớ Chài) against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunrise

  • Morning: Visit a local fishing village to shoot close-ups of the vibrant green and red net-mending—a signature colorful craft of the coastline.
  • Lunch: Return to the ancient town for breakfast, local coffee, and regional specialties.
  • Afternoon: * Photoshoot at a traditional lantern workshop, the iconic symbol of Hoi An’s heritage.
  • Experience a basket boat (Thúng Chai) row through the Bay Mau Nipa Palm Forest, capturing the unique movement of the boats amidst the waterways.

  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Hoi An.

DAY 2: CAPTURING THE "SOUL" OF THE ANCIENT TOWN

  • Early Morning: Shoot a staged lantern release at the Japanese Covered Bridge—the symbol of Hoi An. Capture the poetic image of a lady rowing a wooden boat laden with lanterns along the Hoai River.
  • Morning: Discover hidden gems through the lens: an artisan carving bamboo roots into art pieces under a century-old banyan tree, and a portrait session with a famous local elder, known as the “Soul of the Town” for her iconic Vietnamese smile.
  • Afternoon: Visit a traditional mask-making workshop. Capture the intricate process as artisans demonstrate their craft.
  • Sunset: Document the town’s transformation as the lights come n, shooting from high-angle viewpoints or along the riverbanks.

DAY 3: OCEAN RHYTHMS & SACRED CAVE LIGHTS

  • Early Morning: Depart for Tam Tien Fish Market—one of the most vibrant coastal fish markets in Central Vietnam.
  • Next: Capture the lush green Eleocharis (grass) fields, featuring locals carrying fodder for cattle—a quintessentially rural scene.
  • Late Morning: Return to Hoi An for breakfast and coffee before transferring to Da Nang
  • Afternoon: Shoot at Huyen Khong Cave (Marble Mountains). We will arrange a model in a traditional Ao Dai to capture the “God rays” of light filtering through the cave ceiling. Later, head to a traditional silk-drying area to capture the flowing lines and vibrant colors of the fabric.

DAY 4: CRAFT VILLAGES – THE ROAD TO THE IMPERIAL CITY

  • Morning: Document a 100-year-old sedge mat-drying village, followed by a shoot of the fish-drying process along the Hoi An coastline.
  • Afternoon: Check out and depart for Hue. Travel via the majestic Hai Van Pass or the tunnel. Lunch will be served en route.
  • Late Afternoon: Upon arrival in Hue, capture the stationary lift-nets (Cất Vó) on the river and a spiritual lantern release on the serene Nhu Y River.
  • Evening: Check into your hotel in Hue and enjoy a restful evening.

DAY 5: HUE – ROYAL MAJESTY & PAPER FLOWERS

  • Morning: Compose artistic shots of flower-laden boats on the tranquil lagoon. Visit Thanh Tien Paper Flower Village to witness the preservation of Hue’s spiritual and handicraft beauty.

  • Afternoon: Tác nghiệp at Tu Duc Tomb & Khai Dinh Tomb. Focus on the elegance of the traditional Ao Dai within the somber and grand imperial architecture. Capture a model in prayer beside ancient stone steles.

  • Evening: Indulge in a Hue Royal Banquet (Imperial Cuisine).

DAY 6: DAWN AT CHUON LAGOON – FAREWELL

  • Early Morning: Catch the sunrise at Chuon Lagoon. Capture the authentic livelihood of fishermen on the vast Tam Giang lagoon system.
  • Morning: Visit a workshop for hand-weaving conical hats (Nón Lá).
  • Noon: Check out and enjoy lunch before transferring to Da Nang International Airport (or Hue Airport) for your departure.
  • Optional: Professional net-casting performance (Please book in advance for this special setup).
  • Tour ends: Farewell to the group and see you again.
